Hi! My name is Mallory and I attend college in a very busy, popular little Texas town. There is so much to do there like:

  • Tipping cows
  • Putting bubbles in the campus fountain
  • Eating at one of the town’s 3 restaraunts (McDonald’s and Burger King included)
  • Driving down dirt roads at night

Yes, there is always something to do…. I honestly don’t know why I’m still there.

I grew up in Texas, but I always had a hard time living up to the stereotype: big hair, cowboy boots, and a belt buckle larger than my head. I now live in the beautiful state of Montana. It’s funny though, because now my Texan friends and family think I live in the middle of nowhere. They’re always asking me if I still have to wash my clothes in a creek or use an outhouse. To them, nothing can be like or better than Texas. Perish the thought. That’s ok. I and those who actually live in Montana know better.
